One final dose of reeds

Last night I finished hot-gluing reeds made from Wee Scapes Field Grass in Light Green at various spots along both banks of my 6' long Kabul River terrain-board...

I also gave my daughter a more-up-to-date pic of the table.  It includes a pair of extra-large pieces of cork bark placed on the North-East corner of the battlefield where a large mountain stands on the map, and more crop-fields I custom cut to fit snuggly between roads and canals.  She put her Photoshop skills back to work and here's the result:

With the full 6' of the Kabul River "reeded" there is nothing left to be done except replacing old 4" wide road sections with new 3" wide ones and filling the two rivers and one swamp with liquid resin.

The resin will probably come first.  I started working on these water features about one year ago, so I'm anxious to get to that final step and complete them!

  3. Nicely done. I looks like the water is really flowing around the reeds.

Great to see the terrain in detail- looks stunning and is something that you should be really proud of.
