It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.
It's been way, way too long since I and my good buddies Dan Gurule and Shawn Hutson teamed up to run our CAMERONE: NOT MEN, BUT DEMONS! game for the second time on Saturday October 14th at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Buena Park, about one hour's drive South-East from my home in Los Angeles. The game was a terrific success and I think the convention overall was a big success as well, in terms of having lots of great looking games on both Saturday and Sunday, most if not all of which appeared to this casual observer (casual because I was pretty busy throughout either GM'ing Saturday or playing Sunday!) to be filled with players enjoying themselves.
I wish I'd been able to post this AAR much sooner but a combo of hometown and world events sucked up way too much of my time -- but better late than never!
I took a lot of nice pics at the con, and -- sad to say -- I haven't seen any pics of the con on the web, though I have seen a bunch on Social Media. So here, a few months overdue, are my photos from Mini-Wars 2023...
